The Call Recorder team takes your privacy very seriously. To define the scope and applicability of the governing laws of storage information obtained from the users through the uses of the application, services and platforms through the site of the application relating to their uses, transmission, translation, collection and storage of those information this Privacy Policy has been discussed here. User’s personal information is as valuable to us as it is for the users. Hence it has to be defined how we deal with the information of our users.
We never sell or disclose available personal information of our users to third-parties. We use collected Information exclusively for our internal processing and marketing purposes. But in some instances, we are obliged to comply with court orders and government requests and provide Information or parts of it to authorized bodies. We may disclose or access Information whenever we believe in good faith that the law so requires, such as to comply with a litigation, or that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or if we otherwise consider it necessary to do so to maintain service and improve our products and services. This Privacy Policy applies to all Users who start using the application.

2. Information Collection and Use

All the information can be taken into sides such as identifiable and non-identifiable information. We will now discuss those in detail.

IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

a) In order to provide our services, we need some personal information of the users. We only collect the information which is necessary to provide our services, and we do not collect any information which is not strictly required by the nature of the service. Personal Information includes full name, address, e-mail, payment information, phone number and biometric information.

b) We may also access your contacts, call logs and recordings of calls, origination and termination points (i.e. to/from numbers), history of calls made with the help of the App. You will be notified with a specific sound when the recording starts. Please mind that it is your sole responsibility to warn your dialogue partner that you are going to record a call.
We process this information by ourselves. However, we may also engage third parties like Twilio Inc. for storing this personal data in order to fulfill obligations and deliver the full scope of services. This personal data can be deleted either by these third parties in accordance with our instructions or by our own means.

c) You can access and review the personal information in accordance with applicable laws and upon a written request. We will provide you with access to your personal information within a reasonable time from the receipt of the request. We may sometimes deny your request under relevant laws. You can request to verify, update or correct your personal information.

d) Your questions, complaints or compliments and our response may be rescored for any type of necessity in the future. Whenever you contact us, we will collect your name, e-mail address and any additional information which you provide and store it on our servers in order to provide you with the best service possible and to improve our Platform and Services.

e) We do not monitor the content of correspondence conducted through our Platform nor do we have any knowledge of such content. Although call recordings are kept on our servers to make them available to you, we do not access the contents unless we have a reason to believe that there is an infringement of our terms and policies. We do not make the contents available to any third party other than the service provider unless we are required to do so by law.

f) Usage of our Platform is governed by our Terms which strictly prohibit any misuse of the Services such as to records call which is illegal, obscene or otherwise objectionable to third parties. If you encounter with situation please contact our support center to report such activity.

g) By providing us your e-mail address you agree to receive periodic emails containing promotions, offers, events, surveys and everything else in connection with the app and our affiliates. You can choose not to receive these emails as well.

h) Call Recordings for the application are all accessible to us. We store the recordings you make in our cloud storage or telecom provider. However, we do not otherwise share these recordings with third parties if not bound by any special law.

i) If you use one of our Services that provides call blocking, we may access the phone numbers in your contacts to ensure that those numbers are not blocked. We do not share this information except with our telecom and cloud storage providers that are necessary to provide our Services.

j) We may collect the Caller number dialing into your device whenever we require to.

k) We will collect de-identified SMS and MMS text messages from callers that are not in your contacts and filter all those that are spam. These texts are used to help us identify spam and are not connected to your personal information when we collect and store them.

NON-IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

a) We use your information to provide and improve our services, customize services for you, better understand our Users, diagnose and fix problems, etc.

b) Advertisers who serve advertisements may use technology which can uniquely identify mobile devices to deliver better target messages and control the number of times you get an advertisement. Advertiser’s networks may access your unique device identifier through their own technologies and use it to target advertising to you.

c) Advertisers make available links through advertisements or otherwise enable you to access third party sites, tools or games. Please note that, while using such sites, tools or games, you are not affiliated with or controlled by us.  

INFORMATION THAT IS PROCESSED AUTOMATICALLY

While using the application some information about your device and your user behavior may be processed automatically. This information is generally non-personal. We may need this information on the ground of our legitimate interest in improving our application and giving our users the best experience. If we do not access such data, we may not be able to provide you with all features of the application.

Types of data that can be accessed:

  • Information about your device: type of your device, type of operating system and its version, model and manufacturer, screen size, screen density, orientation, audio volume and battery and device memory usage.
  • Information about your internet connection: mobile carrier, network provider, network type, IP address, timestamp and duration of sessions, speed, browser that is used.
  • Location-related information: IP address, the country code/ region/ state/ city associated with your SIM card or your device, language setting, time zone, neighboring commercial points of interest.
  • Device identifiers: Identity for advertisers for ios devices.
  • Information about the applications: Name, API key (identifier for application), version, properties of our application can be reported for automated processing and analysis. Some services also record the list of applications and/or processes which are installed or run on your device.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: When you use the application, cookies and similar technologies may be used (pixels, web beacons, scripts).
  • Log file information: Log file information is automatically reported each time you make a request to access the application. It can also be provided when the application is installed on your device.
  • Ad-related information: The following data might be reported about the ads you can view: the date and time a particular ad is served; a record if that ad was “clicked” or if it was shown as a “conversion” event; what the ad offer is about; what type of ad it is (e.g., text, image, or video); which ad placement is involved (where the ad offer is displayed within the application); whether you respond to the ad.
  • In-app events: When you use our App, analytics tools automatically record your activity information (tutorial steps, levelling up, payments, in-app purchases, custom events, progression events, method of limiting the processing of user data).
  • Information provided automatically to advertising or analytics tools does not generally come to our control. So, we cannot be responsible for processing such information.

We do not access or collect your location information.

4. Security

Security while the user is on our platform which directly relates to our application and otherwise has not been addressed to the user is the foremost important concern to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect personal information. But it is the reality that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% risk free. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security for you. We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained.
